Recruiting Coordinator (Technical Recruiting Background)

sailteam.io has been engaged to place a Recruiting Coordinator with a technical recruiting background. This is a full time permanent role that is onsite in Lower Manhattan. This is an in-house role at an InsurTech startup. Great benefits including unlimited PTO!

Requirements:
 
  • 2+ years in a recruiting/talent acquisition coordinator role, in a tech-focused environment
  • Are a highly organized, detail-oriented and high-energy recruiting coordinator
  • Don’t need your hand held, but always there to lend a hand
  • Can multi-task and prioritize on a daily basis for competing business priorities
  • Can keep your cool even when you rather not
  • Understand the ‘Devil is in the details’
  • Have exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Takes initiative
  • Works lock-step with the talent team, hiring managers, and administrative team
  • Bachelors degree is required

FOCUSES FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE THE FOLLOWING:

Candidate Experience
  • Deliver a positively unforgettable recruiting experience for all candidates
  • Coordinate first round pre-screen, phone, video interviews, and onsite interviews directly with candidates or recruiter at agency
  • Arranging travel for visiting candidates and manage the candidate expenses process
  • Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone, text, and/or email
  • Ensure candidates who come onsite fill out the appropriate paperwork before their interview and that the candidate experience is a silky-smooth process
 
People Team Support & Organization
  • Process HR invoices relating to monthly benefits fees, recruiting fees, and consulting fees
  • Plan and schedule orientation week sessions for cohort of new hires
  • Updating candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirming new hires
  • Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a weekly report
  • Coordinating the post-interview debrief meetings and providing debrief materials
  • Identifying opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date
  • Perform administrative duties as required to support the people team
  • Work closely with other coordinators on cross-functional teams
